Artist Review - Busy B Photography

For my artist review I picked Busy B Photography. Busy B was created in Nipigon, Ontario by Cat Zechner. It first started out as a hobby of Cat's, which later turned into a very successful business. When you ask around Nipigon where to get good pictures taken, the first person anyone would say would be Cat.  I had the opportunity too get photographed by her with my family last year.  When we went to Cat about getting family pictures we came up with the great idea to do it in camouflage. When we first arrived Cat had a lot of interesting idea's that turned out great! For me it was a great experience too see how she worked.

While looking through her photo's on the Busy B facebook page I came across this picture below. When looking at the picture you can tell that a lot of work went into it. It intrigued me the most because I was amazed at how she can make the image look so scary and realistic at the same time. When you look closely you can see many different details that she put into the picture from the lighting too the background.

Another image that captured my attention was this photo below. Cat's editing skills made this picture look like the dog wasn't real!, From the way the dogs coat was coloured too the brightness of its eyes. It takes real skill and passion to come up with these edits and to wait and find the perfect shot.

In my opinion these photo's prove how great Cat is with a camera and how she has great editing skills. From reading this review I hope you can see the many talents of Cat and that you would chose Busy B Photography for whenever your feeling in a photogenic mood because I can guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed. :)

HTML Post

For one of our last projects we had to do HTML tags, we had to learn what they did and how to work them. We Had to first read the instructions on what to do on the elearning website, and after that we got to chose what we wanted to do to test out HTML codes. I chose to make a tumblr website for mine because it was something i was more familiar with.

For my blog i created a user name and a page name then got to the fun part. For this you google "tumblr themes" and click on any web page u want to find a back ground. Once you chose a background they gave you the HTML code, which you then copy and past it into the edit HTML zone and once you pasted it in there you click save and you close the page then reopen it and the background will be whatever you chose.

Step 1: You google tumblr themes
Step 2: You pick a page too chose a theme from
Step 3: Select one of the themes
Step 4: Chose one of the themes and click on it
Step 5: Copy the HTML code that shows up when you click the photo you like

Step 6: Paste the HTML code on your webpage like shown on the top picture and then you have a new web page look

After doing your background you get to edit your profile and change the name to different things, Also like i did you could google things you want to do with your page, i typed in "HTML tumblr music player" and i made a play list and it gives you a code to put into your HTML spot and it tells you where to put it and then you have music whenever you go on your website.

From there on after editing your website too how you like it, you can then go and like things on tumblr, it is easy and a fun learning experience, and it would be worth learning how to use HTML.

Portfolio Review

On my blog for this class, I found that my most successful project in this class was the culture project. I think that it was better then all my other projects because i spent a lot of time on it, and I wanted to try and make it really good because people around the world would be spending time looking at it. With this project I spent a lot of time taking pictures outside and inside and it took a lot of thinking to figure this out because we take what we do everyday for granted and don't think that other people around world don't have what we do.

A project that i struggled with was the stop motion project. It was difficult because you had to take pictures in exactly the same spot and you have to take in the lighting and spot to make it perfect. With this project I learned to take more time and be patient to get a good outcome, and I also learned to see things more clearly and watch details carefully.

As a result of taking this course I learned how to use photo shop too edit my pictures and to also to make stop motion video's. The stop motion really tought me to be spot on and precise and patient with my pictures, and the photo shop helped me to edit and fix mistakes on good photo's.

From here I am going to use my skills to take better photos, and I also can start using my computer skills on more things for example using coding and other things on games.
